(NASDAQ: PDII) a diversified sales and marketing services provider to the biopharmaceutical and medical devices and diagnostics industries, announced the hire of Michael Cotton as Executive Director of Business Development, a newly created position within the expanding Performance Sales Teams Business Unit. Cotton reports directly to Carl Sailer, Vice President of Marketing and Business Development.
In this new position, Cotton will be responsible for identifying and cultivating prospective client relationships, and overseeing the process used by PDI in business development. "The industry recognizes PDI as offering a world class outsourced sales solutions organization," states Cotton. " It will be exciting to be part of a market leading organization and the business development team here, and to have the opportunity to leverage my skill set to proactively grow the business."
Cotton brings to the job over 18 years experience in operations and new business development within the pharmaceutical, dental and chemical industries. He has an MBA in Marketing from Fairleigh Dickinson University, and a BS in Chemical Engineering from Northeastern.
