PDI Performance Sales Teams Announces TOUR DE FRANCE Sweepstakes Winner

Contest Underscores PDI’s Performance Driven Messaging

Saddle River, NJ – (July 6, 2006) PDI Performance Sales Teams, a leading provider of pharmaceutical sales and marketing personnel, has announced that Stephen Beckman, president and general manager at Exaeris, a specialty pharmaceutical sales and marketing company located in Exton, PA, is the winner of PDI’s Winning Performance Sweepstakes. Mr. Beckman was awarded the sweepstakes grand prize, valued at $5,000, of an all-expense paid trip to Paris to see the 2006 Tour de France.

Qualified pharmaceutical executives were able to enter the contest by visiting www.PerformanceSalesTeams.com before the deadline of May 31. Mr. Beckman was selected winner in a random drawing on June 2.

The sweepstakes was introduced concurrently with PDI Performance Sales Teams’ “Performance Driven!” marketing campaign and was publicized through advertising, direct mail, e-mail and the company’s website.

Speaking about the sweepstakes, Scott Stoogenke, PDI Executive Director of Marketing, said, “We watched Lance Armstrong challenge seemingly insurmountable odds to defeat cancer and then to win seven straight Tour de France races. What inherently drives this man — or any of us — to be a leader? Passion, commitment, focus and, most of all, performance. At PDI Performance Sales Teams, our mantra is ‘Performance Driven.’ We believe the only way to help clients be market leaders is to maximize their sales force ROI and give them the performance they need to win. So what better way to kick off our ‘Performance Driven’ campaign than with a trip to see the actual Tour de France?”

Open exclusively to pharmaceutical marketing executives in the United States, the sweepstakes was administered by Promotion Mechanics, Inc., of Newtown, CT.
